Our Market 

In many African countries, such as Nigeria, there has been an increasing shortage of highly skilled individuals vital to the transformation of local economies. As a consequence of this, companies located in these countries have experienced a limited selection of prospective employees. To deal with this shortfall of skilled workers, many local corporations offer to send their current workers for advance training overseas in institutions located in Europe and North America. Also, many individuals desirous of higher paying jobs and the prerequisite skills for such jobs actively seek further training in these institutions.

Traditionally, prospective students and educational establishments have come together as a result of the student’s own limited and sometimes hasty research, ‘word of mouth’, or advertisements placed in magazines or newspapers. None of these methods afford the student a thorough review of options and guidance on the choice to make. Also, foreign institutions have had considerable challenges in evaluating the suitability of these prospective students for enrollment. There are also delays associated with the processing of the necessary materials and paperwork essential for a timely assumption of studies.

LDN Educational Services seeks to bring additional opportunities into the process of review, selection and choice of educational institution for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate study. We offer enhancements to the ‘traditional’ methods, by giving prospective students the opportunity to consider a wide range of opportunities in Europe and North America.

Our highly knowledgeable and experienced employees, most of whom have undergone overseas post-graduate education themselves, are able to offer well-researched evaluations on the suitability of particular institutions and courses based upon the students specific needs and wishes. An immediate benefit to students is a reduction in research and communication costs in the application process.

Our primary market is Nigeria but we do extend our services to neighbouring African countries, and increasingly to ‘overseas based’ African students seeking to further their education with a particular emphasis on ‘employability’ back in their home country.
